The collection includes aircraft, helicopters, engines and cockpits, alongside displays about the First and Second World Wars. Memorials include the Northern Battle of Britain Memorial and one dedicated to the Falklands War.
There is a lot to take in across the site, so check the museum’s opening and access details before planning your visit. Well-behaved dogs can come on a lead, but they cannot enter open cockpits; owners must clean up after them. Drone flights are not permitted.
